What You’ll Do:
- Provide advanced cardiac critical care in the CVICU setting
- Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac conditions, including ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, balloon pumps, and PA lines
- Administer conscious sedation and manage telemetric monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to patient emergencies and provide urgent interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license or applicable state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemonitoring, vents, Swan-Ganz, and balloon pumps
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills

The unit offers a high-acuity environment where skilled nurses play a crucial role in patient outcomes. Shifts include rotating weekends and holidays, with some flexibility for float within similar or lower acuity units.
Parking Information:
- WMC permits available monthly ($224.80) or per 100 days ($748.58)
- WB and CXS permits: annual payment upfront; available for weekends and holidays
