This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: January 1–March 31, 2027; scheduled clinical hours plus call Practice Setting: Outpatient Types of Cases: Obstetrics and gynecology; 13–18 patients per shift; admissions required Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days, unless temporary privileges are approved Electronic Medical Record: Cerner Certifications Required: Board Eligible, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Licensure Required: Maine medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
Facility Location
Presque Isle is the largest town in Maine’s northernmost county and the starting point for the world’s largest scale model of the solar system. The Double Eagle II in 1978, a hot air balloon took off from Presque Ile and landed roughly 137 hours later in Misery, France, making it the first hot air balloon to cross the Atlantic.
