What You’ll Do
- Supervise nursing services and coordinate care activities for residents in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Administer and document medications, treatments, and monitor residents' responses
- Review and update care plans based on residents’ conditions and coordinate with physicians and team members
- Collect and record vital signs and laboratory specimens
- Assist with resident transfers and communicate effectively with families and staff
- Supervise nursing assistants, verifying documentation and ensuring compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in the nursing unit
- Support emergency response procedures and exercise independent judgment when needed
- Participate in team meetings, care planning, and staff training
What You Need
Required:
- Current PA RN license
- BLS certification
- Ability to pass physical exam and background check
- Strong communication, observation, and team skills
- Knowledge of medical asepsis, body mechanics, resident care, and equipment use
Preferred:
- Recent experience in long-term or skilled nursing care
- Willingness to learn and adapt to facility policies
