Description
Our client in North Carolina seeks a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a 60-day assignment beginning Jan 1, 2027. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and involves performing comprehensive gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures, including upper and lower GI, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with various interventions.
Responsibilities and Duties - Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
- Upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal
- Upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery versus laser)
- Upper GI endoscopy With injection of varices
- Small Bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy Flexible
- Sigmoidoscopy Rigid
- Colonoscopy with biopsy
- Colonoscopy with excision of polyp
