What You’ll Do
- Provide respiratory therapy and patient education for ventilators, PAP therapy, oxygen, and other respiratory equipment.
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, lung function, and blood oxygen levels.
- Set up and troubleshoot invasive and noninvasive ventilators and respiratory devices.
- Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use, safety, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all services performed.
- Follow physician orders and Rotech procedures during patient visits.
- Work independently within the Paid Per Service structure but collaborate as part of the clinical team.
What You Need
Required:
- Active Colorado RRT or RN license
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong assessment and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and manage scheduled patient services
- Ability to troubleshoot respiratory equipment
Preferred:
- Respiratory therapy background or experience with ventilators, PAP therapy, oxygen therapy
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
- Experience in home healthcare or durable medical equipment (DME/HME)
- Knowledge of respiratory diagnostics and protocols
