What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process effectively.
- Assess patient needs, develop, and implement care plans tailored to each individual.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Collaborate with team members to manage resources and ensure high-quality care.
- Document all patient interactions accurately and timely.
- Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN licensure in Louisiana
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
- 2+ years of ER nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Experience with diverse patient populations
