What You’ll Do
- Evaluate medical problems of adult patients in a gastroenterology/internal medicine setting
- Request consultations from other specialties as needed
- Educate patients and families about preventive care, treatment plans, and medication use
- Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and outcomes aligned with regulatory standards
- Manage and monitor patient medications and treatments relevant to gastrointestinal health
- Facilitate referrals for complex or high-priority cases to collaborating physicians
- Provide appropriate medical and emergency interventions in the clinic
What You Need
Required:
- NY State License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a clinical setting
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
Preferred:
- Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems
- Strong collaboration skills and patient-centered approach
