Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90

What You’ll Do
- Provide nursing care for Medical, Surgical, Telemetry, CHF, Post-Cath Lab patients (no sheath removal)
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data
- Administer non-titrating cardiac medications such as Dobutamine, Cardizem, and Heparin
- Support patient recovery following surgeries and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including RT, OT, PT, and hospitalists
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Participate in unit orientation and follow hospital policies for patient care
What You Need
Required:
- Active RN license valid in Louisiana
- At least 2 years of Med Telemetry experience in acute care
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills (preferred)
- PIV skills, central line care, and post-surgical recovery experience
Preferred:
- Experience with telemetry tech, TR bands, and cardiac drug infusion
About the Assignment

Nurses will work on a flexible schedule with every other weekend rotation, holiday shifts, and a mixture of 4- and 3-day workweeks.
