What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality patient care utilizing established nursing processes within the operating room.
- Assist with preoperative patient assessments and preparations.
- Support surgical teams by managing and monitoring patient vitals during procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and sterilization standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Respond promptly to any patient needs or emergent situations during procedures.
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Prior experience working in an operating room setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Leadership experience or skills in managing OR teams
- Certification in surgical nursing specialties
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
