What You’ll Do
- Conduct screenings and evaluations of patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with clinical standards and regulations
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments, including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and assistive device use
- Monitor patient progress, modify interventions, and document outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and discharge processes
- Support supervision of occupational therapist assistants, rehab aides, and students as needed
What You Need
- Missouri State Occupational Therapist License and NBCOT certification (preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy; LTC experience preferred
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
