What You’ll Do:
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop and implement personalized care plans following regulatory standards
- Administer therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
- Document treatment progress and outcomes accurately in the electronic record system
- Provide patient education, counseling, and support to families and caregivers
- Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient progress and discharge planning
- Supervise and support OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed
What You Need:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain
- At least 1 year of experience in outpatient or inpatient rehab settings
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Knowledge of regulatory and clinical documentation standards
About the Assignment:
This position involves providing skilled occupational therapy services within a dedicated rehabilitation unit. You will evaluate patients' progress, adjust treatments accordingly, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes a team-oriented approach to patient recovery and functional improvement.
