What You’ll Do:
- Provide respiratory care treatments and oxygen services to patients of all ages
- Monitor and wean oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation
- Draw, analyze, and report arterial blood gases and EKGs
- Assist with changing artificial airways and provide ventilation support as ordered
- Perform diagnostic procedures in line with established policies
- Educate patients and healthcare staff on treatment plans
- Document all clinical activities accurately
What You Need:
Required:
- Current state-licensed Respiratory Therapist credential
- BLS certification
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Knowledge of respiratory procedures and patient care
Preferred:
- NRP certification (for NICU work)
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- Strong computer and communication skills
- At least 1 year of relevant respiratory care experience
