We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in Arizona. This full-time role involves working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, to deliver comprehensive preventative geriatric primary care. The ideal candidate will provide attentive patient care, maintain accurate coding and charting, and utilize their tech-savvy skills to manage a diverse patient panel, striving to minimize hospital admissions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver preventative geriatric primary care to a diverse patient panel.
• Manage cases across high, emerging, and low-risk categories.
• Provide care for conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia.
• Address CHF, CAD, and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Treat COPD, asthma, CKD, and thyroid disorders.
• Manage osteoarthritis and chronic pain.
• Address dementia, cognitive decline, falls, mobility issues, and osteoporosis.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and infections.
• Conduct preventive care and annual wellness visits.
• Perform medication management and comprehensive geriatric care.
• Ensure accurate medical coding and charting.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is preferred.
• The primary focus is outpatient preventative and primary care, aimed at keeping patients out of the hospital.
• Manage a patient panel segmented into high, emerging, and low-risk cases.
