NICU Registered Nurse – Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – Columbus, OH

What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized neonatal care to infants from 22 weeks gestation and above, managing respiratory, cardiovascular, GI, and infectious conditions.
- Administer medications using EPIC and Pyxis medication systems, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including NPs, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and social services.
- Perform and assist with advanced procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, and managing neonatal abstinence syndrome.
- Oversee ventilator settings and adjustments for neonates requiring respiratory support.
- Document patient care and communicate effectively via SBAR with team members and families.
- Support neonates with complex surgical, cardiac, or respiratory needs, working in a well-equipped NICU environment.
What You Need:
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or eligible for licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience in NICU Level III/IV settings
Preferred:
- Prior experience working at Nationwide Children’s Hospital or similar large-scale NICU
- Competency in cardiovascular rhythm management and GI feeding techniques
- Strong infection control and IV therapy skills
