What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patient needs, plan, and implement care based on standardized protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, quality care
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions
- Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards
What You Need
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience
- Current BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
