- License/Certs: RN License in state of employment or compact, BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate FHM Instructor or Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (certification required within 1 month)
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant Labor & Delivery experience

What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized care for antepartum, delivery, and postpartum patients
- Attend to newborns during initial assessments
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs using electronic fetal monitoring
- Assist with labor induction and cervical ripening procedures per AWHONN standards
- Support patients during cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards
What You Need:
- Required:
- RN license in Louisiana or valid compact license
- BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
- Certification from AWHONN or NCC in fetal monitoring (must be obtained within 1 month of start)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Preferred:
- Previous travel nursing experience in obstetrics
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
