What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality care to ICU patients, following the nursing process
- Assess patient needs, implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and dignity at all times
- Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with patients and team
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (12-month blue card)
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Experience with EPIC software
- Additional clinical certifications
