What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric and adult female patients over 18, including post-partum and post-op individuals
- Conduct initial assessments and create individualized care plans
- Re-assess patients routinely to monitor progress and modify care accordingly
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
- Document interventions and point-of-care testing results accurately
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Support unit operations by delegating tasks and assisting with staff orientation
What You Need
Required:
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Preferred:
- Pediatric and med-surg nursing experience
- Ability to adapt to floating between L&D and med-surg units
- Excellent teamwork and patient-centered care focus
