What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments, including drills, scopes, and DaVinci devices
- Assemble instruments across multiple service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging)
- Operate sterilization processes (Sterrad and steam sterilization)
- Perform high-level disinfection and scope processing (HLD) and scope experience preferred
- Manage sterile storage and inventory
- Collaborate with operating room staff as a liaison for sterile processing
- Track instruments and equipment using Censitrac and Medivator systems
What You Need
Required:
- Valid CBSPD or CRCST certification (or equivalent through HSPA)
- Prior experience working with all areas of sterile processing, especially Medivator
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Strong understanding of sterilization standards and instrument handling
Preferred:
- Experience with OR liaison activities
- Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system
- Experience with high-level disinfection and scope processing
- Previous work in a Level One trauma facility
