What You’ll Do
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting
- Float within OSU, supporting various surgical and clinical units
- Assist with burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial cases
- Perform special procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
- Monitor patient status and document care via EPIC electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols during shift
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 12+ months of recent med-surg, telemetry, or ICU experience
- EPIC electronic health record experience
Preferred:
- Experience with burn care, plastic surgery, or specialized surgical procedures
- Ability to float across different units and adapt to varied patient needs
