Our client in Michigan seeks a dedicated Gastroenterologist Physician for a 60-day assignment. This role involves 24-hour call coverage from Saturday 7:00 AM to the following Saturday 6:59 AM, including in-house shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. The successful candidate will provide 100% inpatient care, manage an average of 8 follow-up patients and 6-8 new consults daily, and perform various GI procedures, with ERCP experience preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 100% inpatient gastroenterology coverage.
• Manage an average daily volume of approximately 8 follow-up patients.
• Handle 6–8 new consults daily.
• Perform outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures, including colonoscopy and EGD.
• Conduct advanced GI procedures.
• ERCP experience is preferred but not required.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• EMR: Epic.
• Primarily inpatient setting.
• Call schedule: 24-hour call from Saturday 7:00 AM through the following Saturday 6:59 AM, with in-house shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
