We are seeking a dedicated Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 90-day assignment in New York. This role involves comprehensive inpatient medical management, including rounding, pre and post-operative vascular surgical care, and first assisting in the operating room for a team of approximately five surgeons, with flexible shift options available.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform inpatient medical management and rounding.
• Provide pre and post-operative vascular surgical care.
• Manage medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and acute illnesses.
• First assist in the operating room for approximately five surgeons on vascular surgery cases.
• Comfortably handle open vascular procedures including peripheral bypass, carotid surgery, AV fistula creation, and open abdominal aortic surgery.
• Execute bedside procedures such as suturing, permcath removal, wound vacs, and dressing changes/wound care.
• Focus exclusively on vascular surgery; no cross-specialty coverage or interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
