We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in California. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting, addressing rural health aspects, and managing a variety of patient complaints. The position primarily focuses on telemedicine, with opportunities to assist with in-clinic overflow and walk-ins during an 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide primary care services within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment.
• Address rural health considerations and manage a diverse range of patient complaints.
• Primarily conduct patient consultations via telemedicine platforms.
• Be available to assist with in-clinic patient overflow and walk-ins when necessary.
• Manage a variety of cases including acute illnesses like cold, cough, and flu.
• Provide chronic disease management for conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
• Deliver specialized care, including services for the homeless population and LGBTQ patients.
• Conduct routine annual check-ups and preventative care.
