24 Hour On Call (1 Hour Gratis): $3270 per 24 hours
Holiday 24 Hour On Call (1 Hour Gratis): $4910 per 24 hours
Call Back: $390/hr
Holiday Call Back: $585/hr

24-Hour Coverage: 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
Must Be Available for Significant Coverage During October 2-November 2, 2026

Approximately 3 TAVR / SAVR Consults Per Day
Approximately 1-2 Surgeries Per Day

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Adult Cardiac Surgery Coverage
Provide General Thoracic Surgery Coverage
Perform TAVR and SAVR Procedures
Perform Aortic Dissection Surgery
Perform CABG
Perform Tube Thoracostomy
Perform Pericardial Window
Perform Thoracotomy
Perform Lung Resections
Perform Pneumonectomy
Perform Heart Valve Repair and Replacement Surgery
Manage Dissections
Perform VA ECMO Placement
Perform VV ECMO Placement

4 Physician Assistants Available to Rotate and Support Surgeon in the OR

16 Step-Down Beds

Requirements
MD or DO Degree - Required
Active Idaho Medical License - Required
Successful Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-Accredited Residency - Required
Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship Training - Required
American Board of Surgery or American Board of Thoracic Surgery Certification, or Ability to Obtain Certification Within 3 Years - Required
ACLS - Required
Clean Background and No Malpractice History - Required
Must Be Able to Obtain Privileges at Affiliated Hospitals as Needed
Must Be Available for Significant Coverage During the Requested Dates

Credentialing
Expedited Privileging May Be Available in Approximately 5 Days
Credentialing Documents Must Be Readily Available, Including Medical Degree, Residency and Fellowship Certificates, Medical Licenses, DEA, Board Certification, Life Support Cards, Insurance Certificates, Identification, Professional Photo, CMEs, Immunization Records, References, and Case Logs"
