What You’ll Do
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans following clinical standards
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
- Track patient progress and adjust therapies accordingly
- Document all services, outcomes, and discharge summaries per regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and families to support patient care
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and in-services as required
- Support and supervise CFYs or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
What You Need
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Relevant experience in speech therapy, ideally in long-term care settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical practices for speech pathology
