What You’ll Do
- Conduct screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation of patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers.
- Document clinical activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide counseling and consultation to patients and their support networks.
- Support supervision of CFYs or student SLPs as needed.
What You Need
Required:
- MA State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in long-term or similar healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to follow clinical and regulatory standards
Preferred:
- Experience with evaluative assessments and treatment planning for communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
