What You’ll Do
- Deliver psychotherapeutic interventions to individuals and families with emotional and behavioral disorders.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
- Lead individual, group, or family therapy sessions aligned with treatment plans.
- Develop and revise treatment plans based on assessments and patient progress.
- Document therapy services accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records.
- Manage a caseload and participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Provide services in inpatient or outpatient settings as needed.
- Assist with case management, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination.
- Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
- Address patient concerns and work to resolve complaints, prioritizing patient safety.
What You Need
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services
- State or national licensure as a therapy provider or eligibility for licensure
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
Preferred:
- Over 1 year of relevant experience working with similar patient populations
