What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients in a timely manner.
- Prepare treatment simulations and fabricate shielding blocks as needed.
- Maintain and operate treatment equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety.
- Document all treatments accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Adhere to infection control protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Contribute to quality assurance and quality control processes to uphold safety standards.
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid Radiation Therapist license or certification in Michigan
- Prior experience in radiation therapy, preferably in oncology
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment procedures
- Preferred:
- Experience with treatment simulation and shielding fabrication
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
