Description
We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 48-day assignment in Virginia. This role involves home health travel to patient residences two days a week, with shifts from 9 AM to 3 PM or 10 AM to 5 PM. The Physician will manage patient evaluations, follow-up, acute, and chronic care, including performing x-rays and EKGs, while a Medical Assistant provides driving and scribing support.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive home health care to patients within their residences.
- Conduct patient evaluations and deliver follow-up care.
- Manage acute and chronic care needs for patients.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as x-rays and EKGs.
- Collaborate with a Medical Assistant who handles driving and assists with scribing during visits.
- Complete all necessary patient charting, with dedicated office space available for this task.
