Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) – Surgical Services at a leading facility in Columbus, OH

Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $32.88

What You’ll Do:
- Decontaminate surgical instruments including drills, scopes, and DaVinci equipment
- Assemble instruments across all service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
- Operate sterilization processes (Sterrad and steam)
- Perform high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing
- Manage sterile storage and inventory control
- Collaborate with OR staff, acting as an OR liaison
- Track procedures using Censitrac system and Medivator equipment
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid CBSPD or CRCST certification (through HSPA or IAHCSMM)
- Experience with Medivator systems (please rate yourself 1-4 on a scale)
- Prior experience in a high-volume hospital Sterile Processing department, preferably Level One trauma centers
Preferred:
- Experience with Censitrac tracking system
- Experience handling all department areas, including decontamination, sterilization, and storage
