What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced CVICU environment
- Monitor and manage cardiac patient conditions, including ventricular assist devices, Swan-Ganz lines, and balloon pumps
- Administer medications and sedation as required, including conscious sedation
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced monitoring and life support equipment such as Ventilators and Telemetry systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in Epic electronic medical records
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, and EPIC EMR
Preferred:
- Previous travel ICU experience
