Overview

Non-Invasive Cardiology locum tenens opportunity in the Gulf Coast region for a physician seeking a long-term full-time role. This position offers continuity of care with an established patient panel, collaborative inpatient responsibilities, and a predictable clinic schedule.

Assignment Details

• Setting: Primarily outpatient with hospital rotation responsibilities


• Start Date: ASAP; as soon as credentialed


• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call

Schedule

• Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm


• Hospital service rotation approximately every 5-6 weeks


• One weekly clinic reading day assigned per cardiologist


• Beeper call coverage required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient cardiology clinic coverage with established patient panel


• Inpatient care and rounding during hospital service weeks


• Consultations and multidisciplinary rounds


• Reading hospital diagnostic studies during service week


• On-site clinic visits and diagnostic study review


• Follow-up communication and care coordination with patients and imaging teams


• Supervising physician responsibilities for Physician Assistants

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology


• Fellowship training required


• Active supervising license required


• Must be eligible to serve as locum tenens supervising physician for APPs
