What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process within regulatory standards
- Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Delegate and direct nursing team members, ensuring optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies
- Stay current with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
What You Need
- Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in a medical/surgical setting
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Proficiency with healthcare software and documentation tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
