Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Family Practice | Fortuna, CA

What You’ll Do
- Provide primary care services to pediatric and adult patients in a busy clinical setting
- Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
- Comply with all clinic policies and healthcare regulations
- Participate in immunization protocols and preventive care initiatives
What You Need
Required:
- CA Nurse Practitioner/FNP license or CA Physician Assistant license
- DEA registration
- CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate (for PAs)
- Furnishing License with Schedule II (for NPs)
- Experience: minimum of 3 years in a similar outpatient setting
- Immunizations: Flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap (must be within last 10 years)
Preferred:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population
- Familiarity with MediCal enrollment and processes
