Our client in Kentucky is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day assignment. This role involves a Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm schedule, focusing on managing sick calls, chronic and preventative care procedures, and potentially supervising other advanced practice providers. The chosen professional will provide essential primary care services, including trauma triage and charting notes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise APPs
• Round in infirmary
• Manage sick calls and rounding
• Run chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
• Conduct preventative care clinics
• Provide infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
• Perform trauma triage
• Chart notes
• Manage med refills
• Address med non-compliance with patients
• Handle bread and butter primary care cases
• Manage chronic care cases (asthma, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, etc.)
• Conduct preventative care cases (annual physical exams; over 50 yearly, under 50 done every 3 years)
• Address sick call cases (runny nose, headaches, back pain, etc.)
• Perform splinting and suturing
• Engage in foot clinics and infirmary care as expected
