What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to ICU patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Utilize Epic documentation system to accurately record patient data and interventions
- Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment
- Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and discharge plans
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care activities
What You Need
- Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with Epic documentation
- Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
