What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care utilizing the nursing process to patients in the OR setting
- Effectively use clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members
- Communicate effectively across interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond swiftly and professionally to patient needs and emergencies
- Maintain compliance with all laws, standards, and hospital policies
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN License in Louisiana
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working with confidential information in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Additional certification relevant to OR nursing
- Basic computer skills
