What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients, utilizing the nursing process effectively.
- Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions rapidly.
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient care and interventions.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and safety measures.
- Handle emergency situations with professionalism and efficient judgment.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and hospital regulations and standards of care.
What You Need
- Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
- 2+ years of ER nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred:
- Additional certifications in specialty areas
