What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Monitor patient health status and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC or similar systems
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures
- Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory standards
- Manage complex medical equipment and assist with emergency protocols
What You Need
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- TNCC certification preferred
- At least 2 years of ICU experience
- Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills
