Overview:
Our urgent care and occupational medicine practice in Monterey is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to evaluate and treat a wide range of urgent care, orthopedic, and occupational health patients. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule within a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Position Offers:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Competitive compensation: $150,000–187,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat urgent care and occupational medicine patients
Manage eye injuries, orthopedic injuries, and minor acute conditions
Perform suturing, joint injections, and minor procedures
Provide treatment for sick visits and non-emergent injuries
Conduct occupational health evaluations, including DOT-related services
Deliver patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans in an outpatient setting
Document patient encounters accurately in medical records

Qualifications:

Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in California
1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, orthopedics, or occupational medicine preferred
Willingness to obtain DOT certification
Strong ability to work independently
