What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments, including drills, scopes, and Da Vinci robots
- Assemble instruments across all service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
- Sterilize instruments using Sterrad and steam processes
- Apply HLD/Scope sterilization procedures
- Manage sterile storage and inventory control
- Collaborate with OR staff as a liaison for instrument management
- Use Censitrac tracking system for accurate record-keeping
What You Need
Required:
- Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA/IAHCSMM)
- 3+ years of sterile processing experience in a hospital or trauma center
- Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, scope handling, and decontamination processes
Preferred:
- Experience with Censitrac or similar tracking systems
- OR liaison experience
