Model: Utilizing 2–3 surgeons to share ongoing coverage due to extended medical leaveClinical Scope & Workload
Facility Role: Sole regional hospital supporting a catchment area of approximately 500,000 patients
Call Scope: 24-hour call coverage for urgent, emergent, and routine cardiovascular surgical patients
Clinic Coverage: As needed based on volume (typically under 10 hours per week) Requirements & Credentials
Board Certification: Board Certified (BC)
Life Support Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Licensure: Active Arkansas (AR) license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
EMR System: Epic
Credentialing Timeline: 90 Days
