What You’ll Do
- Support cardiothoracic surgeons during adult cardiac procedures
- Perform endoscopic saphenous vein harvests and radial artery harvests
- Place and remove chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines
- Intubate and extubate patients as needed
- Document patient progress and surgical care in Epic EMR
- Assist with robotic lung procedures (preferred but not required)
- Participate in call rotation as needed
What You Need
- Valid State license and DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 1-2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience, including at least 1 year as a first assist in CVOR
- Strong technical and clinical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team
