What You’ll Do
- Provide psychiatric care and supervision for inpatient child and adolescent patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses
- Utilize psychotherapeutic methods appropriate for varied age groups and diagnoses
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment activities
- Participate in team meetings to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Support hospital protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
What You Need
Required:
- Medical license in Georgia or eligible for licensure
- Board certified or eligible with certification within 24 months
- Experience managing a wide age range (from pre-adolescent to geriatric) and diverse psychiatric diagnoses
- Strong interest in inpatient psychiatry
Preferred:
- Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Board Certification
- 3+ years of inpatient psychiatric experience
- EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
