What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process within regulatory and professional standards
- Assess neonatal patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Delegate as necessary to licensed and ancillary team members
- Use data and clinical judgment to evaluate and improve patient outcomes
- Educate families and patients about neonatal care and safety
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and hospital policies
What You Need
Required:
- Current Louisiana RN License
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in neonatal or critical care
- Strong organizational, judgment, and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Certification in neonatal or specialty nursing
- Additional relevant certifications or training
