  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

    
• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine

    
• Licenses: Active Ohio medical license, Active DEA with Ohio address and Schedules II-V

    
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 required

    
• Certifications: NRP required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians (EM boarded exempt)

    
• Experience: No minimum experience required

    
• Other Qualifications: Case logs for previous 2 years required; Seasonal influenza vaccine required

  

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  

  

    
• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions in a moderate-acuity community ED.

    
• Supervise and collaborate with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners under the direction of the Medical Director.

    
• Perform procedures including moderate sedation as required.

    
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, including case logs.

    
• Participate in 12-hour shift coverage including days and nights to ensure 24/7 emergency department staffing.
