We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for an inpatient locum tenens opportunity in Ohio. This role offers a flexible start date for a 60-day assignment, with full-time hours preferred Monday through Saturday. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive direct patient care, evaluating outcomes, conducting daily rounds, and responding to emergency situations within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide nursing care for specific patients under the direction of a physician, following established nursing standards, procedures, and practices.
• Give specific patient care direction to nursing and other staff in compliance with medical and customer directives.
• Deliver direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with specialists as required, and adjust treatment processes to ensure optimal patient care.
• Perform daily information rounds and prepare notes on residents assigned to medical housing.
• Conduct rescue functions during accidents, emergencies, and disasters, including administering basic emergency medical aid, physically removing individuals from dangerous situations, and securing and evacuating people from confined areas.
