What You’ll Do
- Provide pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician oversight
- Manage ventilators, airway devices, and oxygen therapy
- Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans
- Conduct emergency responses, including code blue and white
- Support diagnostic procedures such as blood gas analysis and EKG interpretation
- Maintain accurate documentation and equipment supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
- Required: Louisiana RT or RCP license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC RRT certification
- Preferred: 1-3 years of critical care experience, strong technical skills in ventilator management and airway support
- Key skills: Critical thinking, quick decision-making, teamwork, adaptability
