What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient OB/GYN care, including daily rounding on admitted patients
- Offer urgent consultation and treatment for obstetric and gynecologic conditions
- Manage precipitous deliveries, including vaginal and C-section, in the emergency department
- Perform diagnostic assessments and manage pregnancy-related conditions from conception through postpartum
- Conduct major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgeries as needed
- Be on-call for emergent cases and respond promptly to hospital needs
- Collaborate with hospital staff and support services using Epic EMR system
What You Need
- Required:
- Active Nebraska medical license
- Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN
- Experience with inpatient obstetrical and gynecological procedures
- Comfortable handling emergency deliveries and gynecologic emergencies
- Preferred:
- Ability to respond flexibly to call schedule
- Experience working in acute care hospital settings
About the Assignment
This assignment involves providing critical inpatient OB/GYN services at a well-established regional hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. The facility features a 268-bed capacity and serves as a referral center for the region. Providers will be responsible for managing obstetric and gynecologic cases, handling deliveries, performing surgical procedures, and offering consultative care, all within a collaborative environment with supportive hospital staff.
