What You’ll Do
- Provide care for patients with high-acuity conditions such as strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols
- Monitor patient responses and side effects
- Document all patient care, history, and treatments accurately
- Assess patients’ psychological, emotional, and social needs
- Educate patients and families on healthcare plans and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
What You Need
Required:
- RN license in state of employment or a compact license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (via AHA)
- TNCC certification
- De-escalation certification
- 1+ year of nursing experience in a high-acuity setting (preferred)
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Experience in stroke, cardiovascular, or emergency care units
